Born in Bellingham, Washington in 1972, Amy Brown began drawing at a young age and shows no signs of quitting. Her biggest influences have been Brian Froud and Michael Parkes. At the age of 20 she got a job at a local gallery as a custom framer, which she states helped to give her a good background in color, texture and design, as well as exposing her to a number of mediums. Her boss and now good friend asked her to paint something to fit into a frame that had been lying around for months. Hence it was then that she painted her first fairy, which incidently sold in the gallery a few days later. The rest, as they say, is history. To date her works have been featured world-wide in anything and everything that one could put a fairy on, and the popularity of her art is only growing.

David was born in Leicester, UK but has spent most of his life in Portland, Oregon where he enjoys the cloudy weather. Though he likes to travel, he has never driven a car. He sleeps late and works deep into the night. When he's not attending films, plays, or concerts he can usually be found at home or strolling in Portland's Hawthorne District. He's a bit reclusive and rarely makes public appearances, so if you have an opportunity to see him at a book signing or gallery opening, don't miss it.
